There was never any question in my mind that Iraq and Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. He gassed 6,000 Kurds, his own people, and if that’s not mass destruction then we’re getting terribly calloused. That’s ten times the population of the town where we live. As we prepared to move into Iraq, he had months to move his arsenal into Syria and did so, not that it kept him from swinging at the end of a rope. To my way of thinking, it’s only too bad he couldn’t be hung as many times as he left corpses behind….now that would be justice.
